Phasmophobia
TweetFear of ghosts.
Preparedness theory, which was first suggested about thirty years ago, rests on two assumptions. The first is that human beings possess a predisposition or 'preparedness' to fear certain stimuli. These stimuli would have once represented danger to early man and hence fear and physiological arousal in response to them conferred an advantage according to evolutionary principles.
