Suffering from Autophobia?
TweetWhat is Autophobia?
Fear of being alone or of oneself.
While non-associative theory provides some useful arguments, it is generally felt that it is inadequate to explain specific phobias but may be able to account for some of the developmental fears of childhood. One of the main objections is that there is a great deal of evidence to suggest that traumatic (conditioning) experiences play an important part in many cases of specific phobia and this is not allowed for within non associative theory.
