TweetWhat is Asymmetriphobia?
Asymmetriphobia- Fear of asymmetrical things.
Exposure using photographs, videos or computer graphics ('virtual' exposure) - As the title implies, a form of unreal exposure using modern media.
In vivo exposure - This refers to actual, real-life exposure to the phobic stimulus and can be used in a variety of different ways.
Flooding or intense exposure Sudden intense and prolonged exposure (over a number of hours or longer) to the feared stimulus. Although it can be effective, especially with children, flooding is a type of treatment that is feared by phobic people and one to which they are unlikely to give prior consent.
