Anemophobia also known as Ancraophobia is the fear from air drafts, wind and windy air. When the air or wind starts blowing on the face of the sufferer or he or she hears the air blow, they start feeling butterflies in the stomach and get anxious. The symptoms like breathlessness, sweating, anxiety starts showing in the person.
Anemophobia is attributed to some incident in the past which made the person fear of wind and its enormous power. They feel that the wind will blow them away and their belongings.
The cure is to gain the confidence of the person and reassuring him or her about the possible remedies.
