I stand in a room. A room without any doors. The room is white and plain. The room as no doors, just corners. Every corner I look at are answers I seek. However, the answers I seek are not being answered by my questions. I hope, but my unanswered hope has no hope. I stand in a white room with no doors, wanting a way out.

A cward kills himself a hero goes on to fight another day. Think of your family before you make any rash decisons. It can't get any worse.

related to these postings tonight and between reading the postings and crying I felt like I DO have people to share with. I never seeked help or answers, for that matter, for the things I have been going through for God knows how long, I guess if I look back on my life I have been depressed for most of my life. This really makes me feel worse to realize this. I just needed to connect with SOMEBODY so I looked up a site for depression support and found this one. I could probably type my posting for awhile but I know I shouldnt take up too much space. Thank you all for the postings. I will read them to help me remember there are others out there. I am new at the seeeking help thing. This was my first time. -PAINFULLY ALONE.

Depression is like a shadow.
It follows you around until the sun goes down. Then the night attempts to cool you off,but as soon as the moonlight hits you,
there it is again. Tagging along.

Remember that there is nothing stable in human affairs; therefore avoid undue elation in prosperity, or undue depression in adversity. --by Socrates
This is my depressed stance. When you're depressed, it makes a lot of difference how you stand. The worst thing you can do is straighten up and hold your head high because then you'll start to feel better. If you're going to get any joy out of being depressed, you've got to stand like this. -- by Charlie Brown
The best cure for worry, depression, melancholy, brooding, is to go deliberately forth and try to lift with one's sympathy the gloom of somebody else. -- by Arnold Bennett

Success and failure are both difficult to endure. Along with success come drugs, divorce, fornication, bullying, travel, meditation, medication, depression, neurosis and suicide. With failure comes failure. ---by Joseph Heller
Economic depression cannot be cured by legislative action or executive pronouncement. Economic wounds must be healed by the action of the cells of the economic body - the producers and consumers themselves. ---by Herbert Hoover

Never thought it would come to this, rock bottom, you don't realize after you have been falling for so long, but when you actually hit, you feel it like there is nothing left of anything, and the thing is...thats the whole reason you were falling in the first place.

Someone who tells you they love you and you love them back more than anybody you've ever met before later adds you to as a footnote on a page of their life. The knowledge that you were nothing burns you more than anything.

"I am now the most miserable man living. If what I feel were equally distributed to the whole human family, there would not be one cheerful face on earth. Whether I shall ever better, I cannot tellI awfully forbode i shall not. To remain as I am is impossible. I must die or be better it appears to me".. at a time in his life when he suffered depression.
