Jaclyn Trecartin
I combine my teaching and therapy experience in my work with children, teens, and families. I use an integrated, eclectic, collaborative, and creative approach. I have worked with clients on topics such as: grief, anxiety, depression, self esteem, separation/divorce, parenting, adoption/foster families, learning issues, developmental delays, autism, peer relations/socialization, as well as other issues. I offer individual sessions, family/group sessions, and workshops. I hold my Masters of Education in Counselling, my Bachelor of Education, and my Bachelor of Arts. I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
My work is a blend of: Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Humanistic Psychology, and Jungian Archetypes and Symbols.
